I got a new Canadian passport back in 2012 but never used it until going to Hong Kong to work in the summer of 2013. I received my first stamp on this shiny new passport on June 11, 2013 during a stopover in Taipei, Taiwan while on my way to Hong Kong. Fast forward two years to March 2015 and the same passport has now been completely filled with visas and stamps from visits to 41 countries during that time!
I don’t take how lucky I am for granted for one second. I mean, when I went to renew my passport because it was full, the agent at the passport office said she has never seen someone fill an entire passport before, let alone two years before it was set to expire. I have been very fortunate in all the places I’ve been able to see and the cultures and ways of life I have been able to experience. I worked hard and was given opportunities to travel more than most will in their entire lives.
I find some of the visa’s for certain countries very interesting with very beautiful designs like Cambodia and Vietnam. I added the pictures below of the filled passport with various stamps and visa’s from the 41 countries.
Note: Not all 41 countries are represented here since I didn’t receive a stamp from every country while travelling in Europe throughout the Schengen area since you can travel within this area without a passport once you are in the zone comprised of 26 European nations.
